The API Key is used to integrate AutoCount HRMS with other systems, including AutoCount Accounting, allowing data to be synchronised between the applications. Steps to Create a New API Key for Open API: Go to Subscriptions > API Maintenance. Click Add New to set up a new API Key. Enter the Title of the API and select Autocount HRMS Open API at the API Type field, then enable the API modules. Select the company which has access to the API. Within the same company, select the branch, department, project or entitlement group that can be accessed by the API. Click Save. Retrieve or copy the API Key generated.

The Open API allows users to integrate AutoCount HRMS with external systems for data retrieval and posting. All available API will be listed in the page: https://payroll.autocountcloud.com/swagger/index.html.  Steps to Use AutoCount HRMS Open API: Open the Swagger API page (link above). Verify Token ID: Expand POST. Click Try it Out. Copy and paste the API Key from AutoCount HRMS into Token ID. Click Execute. Scroll down to retrieve the Token ID. Get Authenticated Company List: Expand POST. Click Try it Out. Copy and paste the API Key retrieved from AutoCount HRMS into Token ID. Click Execute. Scroll down to retrieve the company ID. Click GET at the required items.  Enter the company ID and Token ID. 

Users can configure API Maintenance for AutoCount Accounting and Migration Tool via the AutoCount HRMS Services page. Steps to Set Up API Maintenance for AutoCount Accounting and Migration Tool: Go to Profile Name > Company List.  Go to Subscriptions. Click API Maintenance. Click Add New to set up a new API Key. Enter the Title and select the API Type (e.g. AutoCount Account Posting). Select the companies you wish to have access to this API. Click Save.
