This guide will explain what is the difference between the 'Default Rule' function in Rule Maintenance.



When enabled, the system will automatically assign this rule to the employee if they do not have a shift assigned or setup in the shift schedule and they do not have a Default Rule assigned to them in their employee profile. The employee’s shift will then follow the Daily Default Shifts assigned in this Rule.
