This guide will assist you in setting up your company's profile in AutoCount HRMS regardless of whether you are a new user or existing user by providing a checklist of items required for the creation of the company.
Checklist of items / information required when it comes to setting up a company :
i) HRDF Contribution Percentage (0.5% / 1%)
- Company that has less than 10 employees are actually required to contribute 0.5% of the company's monthly wages to HRDF and if a company has 10 or more employees then they are required to contribute 1% of the monthly wages to HRDF.
ii) Default Claim Payroll Type
- To determine how should your claims be processed; whether it be together with your first half or month end salary or individually in a claim processor.
iii) Leave Roundup
- To determine what are the options for leave applications (Full Day, Half Day, Hourly)
iv) Calculate Year of Service By
- To determine how should the leave entitlement be calculated, whether it be based on join date or confirmation date.
v) Contact Person
- Person in charge's information such as Name, IC Number, Position, Department, Email.
vi) Statutory Information
- Statutory information such as, company EPF No, Socso No, Tax No, and Employer File Number.
vii) Retirement Age
- Different company in different field / sectors have different retirement age, therefore, it is required to determine what is the retirement age for an employee in the company.
viii) Contribution Settings
- To determine which Payroll Items such as, Basic Salary, Bonus, Director Fee, Paid Leave, etc, is subjected to which statutory such as, EPF, SOCSO & EIS, Tax, and HRDF.
ix) Paid & Unpaid Leave Daily Rate Calculation
- To assign a calculation method on how should the daily rate of Paid & Unpaid Leave Daily Rate be calculated.
x) Overtime Request Setting (If Applicable)
- To set a restriction on when should an employee request for overtime when they are performing overtime during / out of working hours.
xi) Net Pay Roundings
- To perform roundings on employee's nett salary.
xii) Bank Account
- To setup company bank account information. [Note: Certain banks like Maybanks would require extra information from companies.
