Additional Public HolidayThis guide will assist you in adding an additional public holiday into the calendar. To add an additional public holiday into the calendar, click on Tools > Calendar under General Maintenance. Identify the calendar that you would like to add the additional public holiday and edit by clicking onto the pencil icon. Select the date that you would like to set as the additional public holiday. Key in the Description of this additional public holiday and ensure that the date is correct, and it is set to Full Day. Once done, click on Save to save the changes made. Hover the mouse over the date to see the description of the public holiday assigned. Click on Save at the top right corner to save the changes made. Assign ProjectThis guide will assist you in assigning a created project onto an employee. Note: Project is mainly for report filter and record keeping purposes, it cannot be used for claim entitlement purpose. To assign a project onto an employee, ensure that a project has been created in the first place. Once done, access into the employee's profile by going to Payroll > Employee > Employee Maintenance. Click onto the pencil icon to edit the staff that you would like to assign a project to. After that, go to Employment details and scroll down to Project under employment Info. Select the project you have created and assign it to the employee, once done verify all the details and click on Save to save the changes made. Auto calculate daily rate worker’s salary WITHOUT USING time attendance excel importThis guide will assist you in setting up auto calculation in employee's salary when it's DAILY rate WITHOUT having to use time attendance excel import. To setup the salary auto calculation in employee's daily salary rate without having to use time attendance excel import, go to Tools > General Maintenance > Calendar > Add New. You may key in the specific Code and Description in the column that given. After that, you are also required to define Holidays and Rest Days in the columns that are given. Select the Calendar icon. You may define working hours and working days and click Save once finished. *If need to attach the calendar to related employees. To do so, you may go to Payroll > Employee Maintenance > Employment Detail > define Wages Type and Basic Rate. After that, scroll down to below on the same page to Employment info and define type of Calendar. Remember to click on Save once done. After that go to Payroll Management > Process Payroll > View icon. To view the sub details, click on Basic Salary amount. *Salary is auto calculated based on your setting, as an example Daily Rate is RM 30 and working days calculated is 18. Leave Round UpThis guide will assist you in changing the leave roundups Concept: Leave Round up is essentially how you want the leave to be rounded. There are 3 options for selection, Hourly, Half Day and Daily. Hourly - Staff will be able to apply leave on Hourly, Half Day, and Full Day basis Half Day - Staff will be able to apply leave on Half Day and Full Day basis. Daily To change the leave roundup, Go to Tools and select Company Profile. Access RightsThis guide will assist you in maintaining the access right under user authorization for an individual employee. To maintain an individual employee's access right, go to Tools > User Settings > User Authorization. Select the employee by clicking on the pencil icon to edit. Tick the access rights allowed for this employee and untick those unauthorized access rights. Payroll ClosingThis guide will assist you in performing payroll closing or what is commonly known as Yearly Closing as well Note: Payroll Closing is required in order to generate CP8D and employee's EA form To perform Payroll Closing, go to Tools > Options > Payroll Closing. Click on Add new. Key in the Description if needed. Ensure that there are no pending items in Adhoc Payroll Items & All Payroll Process are Committed Click on Next for Adhoc Payroll Items (Not Posted) & Payroll Process (Not Committed). At Year End Summary, you may view and double check the details of the payroll transaction. There is an option for Export as well to export all the data to excel. Once done, click on Confirm & Save. All clients are reminded to make sure all your data is correct. Then click Yes to continue. Once you have completed the Payroll Closing you are now authorized to preview or print EA form. There are two buttons in the menu for you to click on, first one is EA Assistant which allows you to manually edit the EA Form and Commit which allows you to send the EA form to the employee ESS (Employee Self Service) for downloading / previewing purpose.
