Following the latest Cabinet announcement, the PERKESO LINDUNG 24 JAM (SKBBK) contribution is no longer mandatory and has become voluntary for Malaysian employees.


Important:


  • For Malaysian employees who choose not to participate, tick "SKBBK Exempted" under Employee Maintenance > Statutory Requirement.
  • Foreign employees are still mandatory and should not be marked as "SKBBK Exempted".


How to Exclude Malaysian Employee from SKBBK?

  1. Go to Employee Maintenance.
  2. Select the employee.
  3. Navigate to Statutory Requirement.
  4. Under the SOCSO & EIS section, tick "SKBBK Exempted".
  5. Save the employee record.




Once SKBBK Exempted is selected, the system will exclude the employee from SKBBK contribution calculations, and no SKBBK deduction will appear during payroll processing. This function only available in New UI.




Note: Apply this setting only for Malaysian employees who have chosen not to participate in the SKBBK scheme, based on your company's policy and the employee's consent. This feature is available Only in the New UI.
