How to Get WiFi SSID & BSSID Using PC or Laptop for Rule Maintenance Setting?

Users can configure Wi-Fi restrictions in Rule Maintenance to ensure employees can only clock in or out when connected to an approved Wi-Fi network.


Steps to Get WiFi SSID & BSSID:

  1. Open Command Prompt by searching for CMD or Command Prompt in Windows.

  2. Enter the following command: netsh wlan show interfaces.


  1. Press Enter.

  2. The SSID (Wi-Fi name) and BSSID (Wi-Fi access point MAC address) will be displayed.


Steps to Configure WiFi in Rule Maintenance:

  1. Go to Human Resource > Shift & Rule.

  2. Go to Rule Maintenance.


  1. Locate the rule you wish to configure and click the pencil icon.


  1. Under Configure Clocking Methods, enable Wi-Fi.


  1. Click + to add a new Wi-Fi entry.

  2. Enter the SSID and BSSID.


  1. Click Save to apply.
