Answer:

Yes. Employees can view their current leave balances in the ESS portal or app. The balances are updated when leave applications are approved or leave entitlement are updated, allowing employees to check their latest available leave balance.

Please refer to the attached screenshot for the following information:

(i) Leave Balance: The number highlighted in yellow shows the employee’s available leave balance for each leave type.
(ii) Number of Leave Days Taken: The highlighted text (e.g., “0 of 12 taken”) shows how many leave days have been taken out of the total entitlement.
