This issue usually occurs when no Leave Entitlement Group is assigned to the employee. Without a valid entitlement group, the system cannot load leave data, causing the AC Payroll App to close unexpectedly during leave application.
Steps to Resolve the Issue:
Go to Payroll > Employee Maintenance.
Locate the employee and click the pencil icon.
Navigate to Employment Details.
At the Entitlement Group field, ensure a valid entitlement group is properly assigned.
Click Save changes.
Go to Human Resource > Leave Management > Leave Balance.
Verify that the employee’s leave entitlement is displayed correctly.
The employee should now be able to apply for leave in the AC Payroll App.
